1: ADVICE / GUIDANCE

Latest UK Government Updates– Advice from NHS, for businesses, travel and more
Creative Wales have created a Grassroots Music Relief Fund (GMRF). This open fund is available now and Grassroots Music Venues in Wales can apply for funding up to £25,000 to help them deal with COVID-19 related challenges. No matched funding is required and this is in addition to the package of support available to businesses in general. If you are a Welsh venue and have not yet done so, please request full details and an application form from creativewales@gov.wales
Arts Council of Wales – Urgent Response Fund for Individuals (Round 2 opens 28th April), Stabilisation Fund for Individuals (opens 29th May)
AIM – AIM has launched a support fund aimed at contractors and freelance workers.
Corona Advice for Musicians – Info point for musicians set up by Help Musicians UK
Musician’s Union (MU) – Latest Updates– advice and latest news specifically for musicians
MU Sign-Up for Updates – Join their mailing list to receive latest advice on Coronavirus affected musicians
MU – Mental Health: Support for Musicians – A helpful selection of resources including Music Minds Matter, Music Support, BAPAM and a Freelancers Guide
PRS Foundation have launched the Sustaining Creativity Fund – helping music creators impacted by #Covid19 to get back on track. Apply from Monday 6th April. The first deadline is Monday 13th April.
PRS for Music – Emergency Relief Fund available to PRS members globally and will be offered in grants of up to £1000 each, depending on need.

2: FUNDRAISING INITIATIVES

GoFundMe – Fundraiser for Welsh acts due to showcase at SXSW 2020
Wales Artist and Freelancers Coronavirus Fund – Fundraising to provide an emergency hardship fund for artists and freelancers in the creative industries in Wales who have lost work due to Covid-19.
Music Venues Trust – Launched the #SaveOurVenues campaign to help the 556 Grassroots Music Venues in the UK which are at imminent risk of being closed permanently.
Live Nation has launched a new charitable fund to support those who work on the production side of live music and who are facing financial hardship as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Live Music Now – The organisation have moved their tuition online.
Immerse Music Academy – Online guitar, piano, and singing tuition.
Brighter Sound – A series of free online webinars to support musicians + music professionals during COVID-19
Ty Cerdd – All staff are still operating as usual, from home. All sheet music and records are now available via their website. The organisation are also contributing to various emergency funding streams, which are all detailed on their website.
Swansea Music Hub – Hosting live music ‘Lockdown Sessions; via Instagram live
