LINDSAY MACPHERSON (PROGRAM MANAGER, MUSIC BC, CANADA)

Lindsay is a Saint Mary’s University and Vancouver Film School graduate who spent a number of years as a Project Manager working on brand activations for boutique music agency Secret Study, while also handling label and management coordination for Boompa Records. She has worked in live events at Squamish Valley Music Festival, Red Truck Concert Series and Shorefest. In 2014 Lindsay was hired by Nettwerk Music Group where she worked in Business Affairs, administering licensing and other contract needs for the label and publishing divisions before moving on to a contract position with Newcap Radio (Z95.3, LG104.3) as a Promotions Coordinator. In September 2016 Lindsay was appointed Program Manager for Music BC Industry Association, a not for profit association serving the for profit and non-profit music industry, including artists from all genres, industry professionals, service providers, studios, promoters, venues, festivals, producers, agents, managers and educational institutions.
