Having arranged gigs under the Welsh Language Board in Gwynedd Hefin moved on to run a pub and music venue, Ty Newydd Sarn, arranging over 200 performances. He then worked for Welsh Music Foundation, managing the Welsh Language sector. He co-runs the Sbrigyn Ymborth music label and continues to see as much live music as possible.
