Stephen Birch (NoNewWaveNoFun)

NoNewWaveNoFun was formed in late 2020 by Stephen Birch, who had written for various blogs and publications over the years, such as Middle Boop Mag, Getintothis and Popped Music.

The aim of the site is to cover a vast array of differing alternative and underground artists with a mix of reviews, interviews,track-by-track guides and opinion pieces. Although, not exclusive to these areas, priority is given to local acts in the North West and North Wales.

NoNewWaveNoFun is proud to remain fiercely independent with no advertising at the core of it’s ethos and looks to grow organically whilst not compromising on quality.
