Rebecca Hurn

Rebecca Hurn is a global award winning folk/pop singer-songwriter from South Wales. Rebecca was the only unsigned artist to headline The Isle Of Wight festival in 2021, sharing the same stage as household names such as Kaiser Chiefs, Ella Henderson and similar artist Maisie Peters.

Awards include ‘Best UK Songwriter 2022’ at the UK Songwriters Awards, in partnership with The Brits; ‘Best Song’ for ‘Waves’ at Cardiff Music Awards; ‘Best Folk Songwriter’ in New York City’s Independent Music Awards. Rebecca is only one of two UK artists to be awarded this, the other being Passenger with ‘Let Her Go’. Rebecca has had five global award nominations with four different original songs from three different awards organisations since 2021.

Rebecca has a strong, ever growing social media presence, with over 20k followers, 13m views and 3.6 million likes on TikTok alone. Although unsigned, Rebecca has gained over 40k streams on multiple songs such as ‘Panic’ and ‘Something About Christmas’. Rebecca is a featured artist on the compilation album ‘Indie Christmas’ which has 1.2 million subscribers on YouTube and Spotify.

Rebecca’s success is portrayed in her frequent radio plays across BBC platforms such as Radio 2 and 6, with frequent Radio Wales BBC A-List Playlists, where she was described as ‘a national treasure’.

Rebecca has performed at some stand out festivals multiple times such as ‘The Hay Festival’, ‘How The Light Gets In’, ’Focus Wales’ and ‘The Green Gathering’. Rebecca was also a chosen act to perform at the first ‘In It Together Festival’. Alongside festivals, Rebecca has also played at some nationally recognised venues such as The Principality Stadium, Wales Millennium Center, Tramshed etc. Globally recognised venues include New Yorks ‘Pianos’ and ‘The Bitter End’, home to Lana Del Ray and Lady Gaga’s early success. Her two most recent headline shows at Tiny Rebel and Buffalo in Cardiff were completely sold out.
