Mathilda Manley-Lewis (British Council Wales)

Mathilda is the Project Support Officer for British Council Wales. The organisation connects Welsh creative talent with cultural institutions from around the world, and her role is to assist in the delivery of arts projects and programmes.

Mathilda’s experience in music spans performance (piano and cello), teaching, and events management. She achieved her music degree from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in 2018. Prior to her role with the British Council Wales, she gained experience in A&R (Good Soldier Records) and in concert management (BBC National Orchestra of Wales). In 2019, Mathilda organised and managed a multiple venue music festival on behalf of Oxfam GB: ‘Oxjam Cardiff’ being part of a network of grassroots events held annually in major cities across the UK.
