Hailing from North Wales and the North West, COW have since settled and embedded themselves into Liverpool’s thriving music scene. The band have quickly emerged as one of the regions favourite up and coming bands, and continuously secure festival slots at the likes of Smithdown Road Festival (Liverpool), Focus Wales (Wrexham) and Loud and Local (Chester).

COW’s live shows have helped the band develop a reputation that draws comparisons to Dinosaur Jr, Pavement and Nirvana which has helped them secure support slots for Demob Happy, The Blackwaters, The Spook School and State Champion. With their debut EP now under their belts, COW have been steadily growing their following around the UK and in 2021 played more further afield such as Newport and Bristol, winning over hearts and ears wherever they played.

The band have recently played their first ever sold out show which is seeing promoters and event organizers rushing to book the band for dates later in 2022. COW are due to release their 2nd EP “When the darkness gets you down” on the 29th April via Mai 68 Records, which sees the band at their most melodic, but also heaviest to date. Lead single “Notemakers” which was released in 2021 was received very well by fans and music critics alike. The single received regular radio play across digital stations (BBC Radio Wales, Louder Than War) and helped establish a following in the USA and Europe via blogs and international digital radio play, whilst continuing to help them build on their following across the whole of the UK.

The band have plans to tour again later in 2022 and have confirmed dates in Manchester and London, and will continue to promote small unsigned bands in their adopted hometown of Liverpool via their own nights “Curated By Cows”.
