The Whip formed in 2006 in Manchester, home to it's 4 members - Bruce (Vocals / Guitar / Keys), Danny (Keys), Nathan (Bass) and Fee (Drums). Combining electronic and indie with a quintessential Manchester sentiment, The Whip have established themselves as festival favorites… culminating in their triumphant performance on Glastonbury's Other stage in 2009.
The Whip sprang to life with the release of 'Frustration' and 'Trash' in 2006, both became instant anthems across Europe's club scene, thanks in part to their inclusion on the iconic Kitsune 'Maison' series. They soon signed to Southern Fried and released a series of singles before unleashing their debut long player 'X Marks Destination'. New album 'Wired Together' is out now, and we're delighted to host the band at Focus Wales 2012!
