6 piece indie post-punk band based in Cardiff. Formed in 2010, Panda is mostly Welsh with a touch of Canadian. Sleepy Panda Club rolled out of bed one day and fell into a pile of Velvets, Bowie, A-ha, The Replacements and T.Rex records. They went straight to their garage with a restored four track reel to reel and put down their mix of lo- fi heart-felt electro folky pop blended with a little bit of home- brewed sloe gin a whole lot of distinctively Welsh angst and a dash of Canadian optimism. They then had some warm milk a tasty biscuit and a nap before doing it again.
