One of the most exciting live bands to emerge from Wales in recent years, Leaving Isaac’s Shop are going to leave your mind ablaze in the wake of their indie rock’n’roll glory. Possessed by the spirit of Ian Curtis and driven literally wild by the songs of Morrissey and Marr, LIS relocated to Manchester two years ago to write their debut album. Before their pilgrimage to the indie guitar Mecca though, a string of incendiary live performances supporting the likes of the Wombats and the Pigeon Detectives left fans of the band crying out for a recor. All good things come to those who wait. 2012 will see the release of the band’s debut album on the dRUM wITH oUR hANDS label. We think it’s going to be no less than a classic. We’re going to love it.
