Neil Pearson (Sounds Just Fine)


Neil is a freelance producer, project manager and artist-development specialist working in the UK and internationally, with a particular interest in singer/songwriter, folk and the wider roots genres.
With over 18 years experience working in both the commercial and charity elements of the sector, he has worked with artists from across the UK and abroad on a range of commissions and touring collaborations.

He currently working on The Lost Words:Spell Songs, a project with 8 artists including Karine Polwart, Julie Fowlis, Seckou Keita, Kris Drever and more, shows for 2019 include Hay Festival, and The Royal Albert Hall as part of Proms.

He works with Nashville based management company, Market Monkeys, whose roster includes John Smith, Della Mae, Fortunate Ones and more.
He also works independently with a range of non-English artists on their UK strategy and development.

In addition to this, working with a range of national and regional development agencies, in recent years he has delivered seven creative projects with reciprocal international touring elements between English and Canadian artists.

As a programmer he works with a local venue on a year-round concert series, and works with British Underground as programmer of the UK suite at Folk Alliance.
