Ali Shepley (Glyndwr University)

Ali Shepley is a visual artist whose work is rooted in the idea of travel, taking a line for a walk, meandering between the disciplines and philosophies of fine art and textiles. Her work explores the many facets of time and of line – using the drawn line and stitch as metaphors, her works weave between psychological states, text and image, pictorial space and real space. She is currently a Lecturer in Fine Art/Design at Glyndwr University and lead artist in the Llangollen Fringe Festival
