KINGKHAN is a multidisciplinary artist/producer from Cardiff, who over the last few years has built a name for himself within the Welsh Rap/Music scene through his strong DIY approach and musical versatility spanning a wide range of genres and sounds.
After graduating from BIMM Bristol in 2017 and returning home KINGKHAN has made strides as not only a solo artist but as a producer/songwriter within other notable projects. Such as the rap/hardcore crossover group XL LIFE, producing and writing with local artists such as Asha Jane, Aisha Kigs & Hemes to name a few, and releasing his own eclectic album ‘HAPPY TO BE HERE’ last summer.
Khan’s efforts have not gone unnoticed though, with many tracks played on local and national radio across the country such as BBC Radio 1Xtra with DJ Target & Theo Johnson, BBC Radio Cymru with Adam Walton & Beth Elfyn and Radio 1’s Rock Show with Daniel P Carter. As well as making noise on the live circuit at his packed-out album release show last summer in Clwb ifor Bach, plus a stellar performance at FOCUS Wales 2023’s Groover Showcase, it’s clear to see that KINGKHAN is on the rise and an artist worth watching.
